Sample first
Every new design is made as a sample and approved by you before bulk production. Your approved sample becomes the reference for checking the order.
How sampling worksHow custom rash guards are made
Rash guards, spats and MMA shorts are printed edge to edge with dye sublimation, so the design becomes part of the fabric.
Specification and artwork
Design, sizes, cut and fabric are agreed in writing; artwork is laid onto size-graded pattern templates.
Printing
The design is printed in mirror image onto transfer paper with sublimation inks.
Heat transfer
A heat press transfers the ink into white polyester-spandex fabric, so it won't crack or peel.
Cutting
Printed panels are cut along the pattern lines.
Flatlock sewing
Panels are joined with flatlock seams to avoid chafing; waistbands, gussets and closures are added.
Inspection and packing
Print alignment, colour, stretch and measurements are checked against the sample before packing.
