Settle these before you ask for a quote

  1. What will the gloves mainly be used for: bag work, sparring, classes or fights?
  2. Which weights do you need, and how many pairs of each?
  3. Leather or synthetic, and what retail price band are you aiming for?
  4. Where should the logo go, and do you have it as a vector file?
  5. Which country are the gloves being delivered to?

Sample first

Every new design is made as a sample and approved by you before bulk production. Your approved sample becomes the reference for checking the order.

How sampling works

How custom boxing gloves are made

A glove is built from the outside in: cut panels, a padding core shaped to the fist, then stitching, lining and closure.

  1. Specification

Weight (oz) or size, closure, outer material, padding build, colours and logo positions are agreed in writing.

  2. Pattern and cutting

Panels for the back of the hand, palm, thumb and cuff are cut from leather or PU with steel cutting dies, so every pair matches.

  3. Branding

Logos and names are printed, embossed, debossed or embroidered onto the flat panels before they are stitched.

  4. Padding

Layers of foam of different density are cut and laminated (or moulded in one piece) into the curved fist shape.

  5. Stitching and assembly

Panels are stitched, the padding core is inserted, the thumb is attached, and the lining, palm grip and strap or laces are fitted.

  6. Weighing and finishing

Each glove is shaped and weighed against the specified ounce weight; edges, piping and stitching are trimmed and cleaned.

  7. Inspection and packing

Pairs are checked against the approved sample for colour, logo position, stitching and closure, then packed as specified.

Custom boxing gloves: questions buyers ask

Which glove weights should a gym order for classes?

Most adult class sets are built around 12, 14 and 16 oz, and many gyms ask for 16 oz in sparring. Follow your own gym's safety policy. The quote form lets you split one order across several weights.

Should a private-label glove be leather or synthetic?

Leather costs more and usually lasts longer and breaks in better. Good PU is lighter on cost, keeps colour well and suits entry and mid-price lines. Many brands sell both under one name.

Can one order mix weights and colours?

Yes. The quote form takes quantities per weight. Minimum quantities per colour and per weight depend on the construction and are confirmed in your quote.
